W. HAWTHORNE'S TEAM
ENTERS TRENTHAM QUARTERS
The section of Mv.-W. R. Kemball's team controlled by AY. Hawthorne, up till now prepared at Awapuni, entered its new quarters at "Coalition Lodge," Trentham, to-day, and from now on the whole of Mr. Kemball's horses will be trained at Trentham. G. , Jones has charge of the other section. Hawthorne's team comprises Courageous, Miss Hastings, Hymgreat, and the two-year-olds White Squall (Cape Horn —Martian Miss), Thermopylae (Cape Horn —Miss Wayward), Sailing (Cape Horn —Ross Martian), Foghorn (Cape Horn —Bonrina), and La Parleuse (Psychology—Table Talk)- Hymgreat races in Hawthorne's own colours, and La Parleuse- is trained by him for the Mastcrton. sportsman, Mr. R. Buick. The others are owned by Mr. Eemball. Courageous has been spelling, for the past couple of months, but he will be returned to work immediately. Tho only two with near-at-haud engagements are Hymgreat and La Parleuso, who will race at Woodville next week, but most of the others will be racing (hiring tho autumn.
