DIVERTED TO RELIEF

The ladies auxiliary of the Wellington Ambulance had arranged for a garden party on 28th February at Mr. Sutherland's fine gardens at Karori, but at a recent meeting it was decided to give the whole of the proceeds to the Mayor's earthquake fund, instead of to the ambulance. The Earthquake Committee greatly appreciates this action, and suggests that the public should give the function hearty support.
