STEAMER SINKS
COLLISION ' OFF KOBE
FORTY-NINE PASSENGERS MISSING
TOKIO, 10th February. The steamer Porthos leaving Kobe collided during a snowstorm with the Kikusui Maru, bound for Shanghai. The Kikusui Maru sank. Forty-nine passengers are missing. The Porthos was not greatly damaged and returned to Kobe.
