ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place last Tuesday night in the V.M.C.A., Mr. E. C. Jack presiding. Reference was made to Esperanto literature, which had made considerable progress, both in translations from national languages and in original works. At the conclusion of tuition classes an entertaining programme was presented. Mr. L. E. Dust gave a lecture on "Moderna Konstruado en Tertrema Regiono," with illustrative diagrams * drawn upon the blackboard. The concluding item was an original Esperanto comedy entitled "La Virhio Koleklas la. Monon," the-roles being • capably- presented by Miss Coralie fSniytl-ison, Messrs. V.ernon Leek, Joseph Majoiv L; E.-Dust, and-Bertram Potts, the club secretary. A visitor was Mr. Emanuel Kotulsky, a Latvian journalist, who is travelling round. the world on a motorcycle. Mr. Kotulsky said that he had used Esperauto in all parts of the world, the movement-having grown extensively during the past ten years.
