MEAT PROM HASTINGS

Contrary to expectations, the biggest portion of the meat at the three Hastings freezing works at Whakatu, Pakipaki, and Tomoana is in excellent condition, and fit to be shipped immediately. Only a very small amount will have to be reconditioned. The carcasses are still being loaded for Wellington.
