WORKS 'SCHEDULE APFKOVED

Tho following schcdulo of works totalling £6330 was approved by tin; Lower Hutt Borough Council last evening to bo done under No. 5 unemployment scheme:— Reducing crown, Wanvotu road, £1500; grubbing gorso, sanitation reserve, Seaview road, £80; widening Western Hutt road = with possible reduction of crown in places, £.50; improvement of worst corner on Tirolianga road, £60; Riverside drive-, clearing gorso, and trimming bank between Riverside, drive and the Waiwctu Stream throughout l^ojl Block, £500; Burnsido-R-iversklo drive, clearing gorso and trimming bank, with minimum of,!; road formation, £300; clearing and levelling reserve, Massoy avonue, etc., £300; providing entrance to Seaview tanks, £.30; improving To Momo Creole, £GOj improvemeut of corners, Norman* dale road, £300; improvements to Graceficld road berms and Grncefield drain, £300; continuation of reduction of road cambers, Wilford aottloment, £200; continuation of street berm reduction and .clearing, £300; total, £4180; with'the addition- of Black Creek work, £150, and clearing and sowing1 berms, Government subdivision, £2000;' grand total, £6330.
