BURTON—On 22nd January, 1931, accidentally drowned at Otaki, Teresa Burton, eldest daughter of the late Tehora and Frederick Burton; nlso granddaughter of Mrs. H. Burtou 32, Waripori street. Aged 13 years.

GMtNER.—On the-23rd January, 1931, at Awa- ' tea street, rorirua. John Hutchison dearly loved husband of Margaret Anderson Garner; ased 53 years. Interred at I'orlrua Cemetery, Sunday, ":sth January, 1931.

HACKSTOX.—At Wellington, on the 2r,th Jamiarv 1931 Louisa, dearly beloved wife of William Haokstou, Matai road, Hataitaf. Aged 28 years.

BUTTON— On 25th January,' 1931, at Wellington, Jane .Sutton, late of 13, Railway avenue, Lower Hutt, widow of the late Enoch Sutton; aged 61 years.

WALLS.—On 24th January. 1931, at OS, Chuz- ' nee street, Arminalla, relict of the late James Walls, and mother of A. Walls (Khandallah), Mrs. A". Mathcrsoil (Wellington), Mrs. W. Vetori (Seatoun), and the late Samuel Walls. Aged 63 years. Interred at Karori to-day.
