BUSHMAN'S DEATH

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TATJMARTJNUI, 20th January. Having apparently fallen from a vi3> duct 80ft high,. John Blumberg, aged 50, employed by .Ellis and Burnand in the bush about eight miles from Ongaruo^ was found dead to-day. For some days Mr. Blumberg had complained to his mates, about his health. This inorning ho set off from camp to walk to Ongarue with a mate, Harry Gray, to receive medicaj advice. The two men walked along a tram line for some distance, and. after Mr. Gray had crossed over a viaduct about 80ft high he looked round and found that Mr. Blumberg was iiot in sight. Mr. Gray searched the "gully beneath the tram line and discovered Mr. Blumberg's dead body.
