Lady Mndlay has returned to Wellington from the South. Mr. ana Mrs. J. B: Sutcliffe, Scots College, have returned to Wellington after paying some holiday visits. Mrs. K. H. Morgan and Miss Valmai Morgan have returned to Wellington from the South. Dr. and Mrs. Craig and Miss Nessie Craig have remained in Sydney on their return from England and abroad, and will proceed to Wellington by the Monowai next week, taking up their residence at their cottage at Muritai. Mrs. Ethel Evatt, Wellington, has left" for a visit to her daugther, Mrs. Guy Tapley, at Dunedin. Mrs. H. J. and Miss Hazel Eowe, Wellington, have returned from a visit to the Marlborough Sounds. Miss Jessamine Evatt, Wellington, is spending the holidays at Pelorus Sounds. ' Miss E. Atack, Wellington, has been visiting Queenstown and the Southern Lakes. Mrs. Morton Paterson and family, Wadestown, have returned from a visit to Eotorua. Mrs. Ernest Blundell and family have returned to Wellington from a visit to Paraparamumu. Miss Meta Nixon has returned to Christchureh after a visit to Miss Lulu, Morioe, Eccleston Hill, Wellington. Mrs. Guy Williams and Miss Barbara Williams, Maaterton, are visiting Christchurch. : Major and Mrs. W. I. K. Jennings have returned to town after a visit to Paraparaumu. . Mrs. L. Tripp has returned from a visit to Miss Tripp, Orari Gorge, Canterbury. Mrs. Claude Sawtell, Christehureh, is leaving shortly for a trip abroad. Mr. ana Mrs. Athol Pierara have returned to Wellington from a visit to Mrs. Joseph, Merivale, Christehureh. Mrs. Norton Taylor,and Mrs. Giller, Invereargill, who have been touring the North Island, are the guests of Mrs. S. Battersby, St. Clair, Dunedin. j Mr. and Mrs. H. Huntley Waugh, who have been visiting Mrs. John Gray, Dunedin, have returned to their home in Wellington. Mrs. Geraia Doorly, Duneain, is paying a visit to Wellington. Mts. J. Ryan, Lauder, who has been staying with Mrs. Alex. Johnston, Dunedin, has left for Wellington en route to Perth, where she will reside in future. ■ ' : Mrs. 'm. A. M'lntyre ana Mrs. S. Laurenson, who have been touring the North Island, will return to Dunedin this week. : , Mrs. Herbert and family, Queenstown, are visiting Mrs. .Herbert's mother, Mrs. Boulton/*Wellington. i Mrs. Keith Ollivier, Eendalton, has returned to Christehureh after a visit to her mother, Mrs. yon Dadelzen, Wellington. ' Mrs. E. Bayley, Wellington, has returned from spending the holidays at Paraparaumu.. The Misses J. and T. Whelan, who returned by the Ulimaroa from a trip abroad, are staying at the Midland Hotel, and leave shortly for a visit to their sister, Mrs. D. J. Malone, Stratford.' : , . Mrs. C. C. Jackson, Kopuaranga, Dominion president of the Women's Division of the N.Z.F.U., has returned to Wellington. While in the South, Mrs. Jackson presided at a Dominion Executive meeting at Dunedin, and while in the Canterbury district addressed meetings at Motukarara ana Tai Tapu. In Christehureh she was the guest of Mrs. H. G-. lienham.
