TEX PER CENT. OFF PAY-ROLL

NAPIEK, 13 th January
A special meeting of the Hawkes Bay County Council resolved that a reduction of 10 per cent, shall be made in all wages and salaries payable to employees, as from February. The public purse will thus bo saved about £££00 per annum.
