QUEENSLAND'S OUTLOOK PREMIER OPTIMISTIC (Received 20th December, 11 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The Premier, Mr. Moore, referring to the trading banks' statement regarding the financial position, declared that he felt that so far as Queensland was concerned the drift had been cheeked, and in view of the economies effected, Queensland was in a better position to meet the difficulties ahead than some other State Governments. Queensland had- arrived at a stage where the position was improving.
