AUSTRALIA'S BURDEN
RIDICULOUS POSITION ME, FENTOFS COMMENT (Received 20th December, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Acting-Prime Minister, Mr. Penton, said that he thought Australia had had too many Courts and too many Judges. There were Federal Courts and State Courts, and Public.Service Arbitrators. It was ridiculous. Mr. Fenton made these remarks after refcrrng to the appointments of Dr. Evatt and Mr. M'Tierna,n. Their published careers spoke fpr themselves, ho said.
