PARIS, 6tli December. "Jazz, is going into the discard everywhere, and people are returning to sweet little tunes," said Mr. Frank Albert, head of the Sydney music house. "Poojilo are. turning to the theatre again in England and the United State*;, after an orgy of pictures. Pictures must bo of the best to secure patronage in the United States." Referring to the commercial depression, Mr. Albert said that it was evident everywhere except in France, in tlio United States, where the depression i.vns deepest, the people "cracked hardy," pretending to ignore it, but in Ej| gland, where it was lighter, depression, permeated evcry-day conversation.
