"Sport and General" Photo. FAST TRAVELLING—Mr. /. S. Wright, champion motor-cyclist, who regained for Great Britain the world's motor-cycle record during his speed attempt on the Cork-Carrig road, Ireland, on 6th November. His official speed was 150.736 miles per hour, the first time such a high speed has been obtained on a motor-cycle. This beats the German-made record by more than twelve miles per hour. The photograph ivas taken just before the attempt started.
