». I_. "We havo a dear littlo dog named Pip. He is a fox terrier, and tho other night he was very naughty. I woke up about 10 o 'clock to hear whistliugs and callings. About five minutes later Mother came in, and she told mo that Dad wanted to put Pip to bed, but ho was nowhere to be found! Poor Dad sat up for a whole half-hour, and every moment or so he would run out and call. At last Pip came serenely round the side of the house, wagged his tail, and ran into bed. He had been sitting just round the side of the house all the time, probably listening with great amusement to all the noise! Wasn't he naughty?". "STARLIGHT GLEAM" (11). Ci*-
