SAVED COMPANION'S LIFE One of the presentations at tho Miramar South School's breaking-up ceremony on Thursday evening was not on the official programme, but it was the outstanding one of the evening. Before the commencement of the proceedings a medal was handed to tut headmaster by a strauger, with thf request that it should bo presented t« Ina M'Carrison, a pupil of the school, in recognition o.f her courageous action in saving another girl from drowning at Te Aro liatlis.
