FOG OVER LONDON
TRAFFIC DISLOCATED VALUE OP UNDER GROUNDRAILWAY

(Received 19th December 1 p.m.) RUGBY, 18th December, j A bank of fog which turned day into night over a great part of London yesterday caused little interference with traffic. Late in the evening it settled down and caused considerable inconvenience in certain areas ne&essitat ing a curtailment of train services and a slowing rap •of road traffic. Prince George, who was motoring to London, had to leave his car at Golders Green, some six miles from the centre of London, and completed his journey "by underground railway.
