CHICAGO, nth December. I Opening ;i parcel delivered into his own hands as a birthday present, Tony Mny, the "millionaire newsboy," was killed on the spot when the "present" exploded. Tlic parcel bore the label of a mail-1 order house, and contained a bomb 13 inches long and 3 inches wide. It was so arranged that it was sure to, explode when the lid was lifted. The blast was so terrific that May's homo was wrecked. Tony May came from Italy at the ago of ten. Ho prospered so exceedingly that he became owner of hundreds of select news stands. Ho became also a moneylender and professional bondsman. He lost £15,000 when Jack Johnson, former heavyweight boxing champion, "jumped" his bond.
