The chairman of the Pees Committee of the Wellington Hospital Board (Mr. A. J. M'Curdy) reported at a meeting of the board yesterday that the amounts of maintenance accounts written off for the eight months April to IS roveinber for the last three years ■were as follow:—1928, £10,683; 1929, £22,----767; 1930, £31,668. The'maintenance fees collections in the same period were:—lo2B, £15.150; 1029, £15,563; 1930, £10,838. The amounts collectable! were:—l92B, £41,139; 1929, £38,----746; 1930, £53,920.
