SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

Thursday saw another <Rie gathering at the Sailors' Friend Society at Miss J. Gray's concert. A programme- of rare merit was tendered, and all the vocalists and elocutionists were'recalled. Light refreshments were dispensed by tho hostess and her helpers. The performers were Misses J. Gray, D. Baker, M. Gibbs, Messrs. R. Macauly, R. Armstrong, and Andevsgn, and Masters A. Ath erf old' and B. Harewood. Miss R. Gray and' Mrs. Leslie Walker were at the piano. Mr. J. Sloore, missioner, announced that much would be done to brighten Christmas for those in port.
