STRAND LIMITED

Directors of Strand Limited, Wellington, report for the year ended 30th September a reduction in net profit, largely accounted for by the following causes: (1) Loss of revenue, amounting to about £200, during the alterations to the buildings; (2) an increase in rates and taxes of £204; (3) double depreciation, amounting to £372, being written off to comply with the Income Tax Department requirements. A dividend of 4 per cent, has already been paid this year, but in view of the difficult time through which we are passing the directors do not recommend a further dividend now. The buildings are now practically fully let. Mr. T. Bush, director, offers himself for re-election. The auditors, Messrs. James Kellow and Son, also offer themselves for re-election.
