MRS. MILLER CRASHES

NEW YORK, 14th December. A message from. Jacksonville, Florida, states that Mrs. Keith Miller's 'plane was demolished when she attempted to take-off for Washington. The accident was caused by the failure of the motor shortly after Mrs. Miller left the ground. She is unhurt. A faulty gasoline pump caused tho motor to stop, and Mrs. Miller crashed from 50 feet. The wings and under-carriage of her machine were wrecked. Tlie accident was witnessed by Mr. Bert Hinklcr, who had just arrived from New York in a Moth 'plane with tho wife of the well-known cartoonist, John Held Junior. Hinkler is teaching her to fly.
