SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
TO-XIGHT'S SPECIAL CONCERT A reminder is given of the special concert which is being given iv the Town Hall this evening by the Wellington Symphony Orchestra. It is an unusual event for a concert of this kind to' be added to the pre-arranged orchestral series, but still more unusual for one to be provided at prices which fully deserve the adjective "popular." The combination should attract a very large audience. The orchestra, conducted by Mr. Leon de Mauny, is a very highly accomplished group, capable of performing works of a most' ambitious character, and has thoroughly earned much enthusiastic praise. Two of Wellington's leading vocalists—Mrs. Wilfred Andrews and Signor Lucien Cesaroni—will assist. The orchestra will play the "William Tell" overture, the first movement of the ■•'Unfinished Symphony," the "Faust" ballet music._ and Tilgar's "Pomp and Circumstance" march. Mrs. Andrews will sing "Aye .Maria (BachGounod), with Mr. Bernard Page at the organ, and Signor Cesaroni will give "King Solomon's- Mines."
