HUTT VALLEY GUN CLUB
On Saturday afternoon the members of the Hutt Valley Gun Club held a Christmas shoot for trophies given by members. There was a record attendance, and although the high, north wind made the shooting conditions tdiflicult, the matches were all well contested.' The President's Match of 12 birds was won by T. Skipage, who shot the possible. There were 24 competitors iv this uiatch, and the entrance money, amounting to £6, will' be donated to charity. The Eley Handicap, of 9 birds, for a case of Eley ammunition, drew 23 entries. Three competitors, A.' Caldwcll, N. Irvine, and T. Skips shot the possible. The Hutt Valley Handicap, of 9 birds, was well contested, and possibles were scored by H. H. Morris, W. J. H. Haasc, Dr. Anson, and E. Flux. * la the Consolation Handicap, for those who had not won a trophy in-any of-the first three matches, there were eleven competitors, and possibles were. scored" by A. Dennison, W.
