DIFFERENCE WITH CONTROL
COUNCIL
(Received 6th December, 2 p.m.) LONDON, sth December. Lindrum, M'Conaehy, Davis, and Newman have requested the Billiards Association Control Council to adopt napless cloth and consult them regarding the financial terms of the English chaTnpionship. Both requests have been ignored, consequently Lindrum and Davis have announced .that they will not be competing in the- championship. __^________
