RIDGWAY SCHOOL CONCERT.
A very successful and enjoyable concert, held under the auspices of the Ridgway School Association,, took place in the school at Mornington on Thursday. The object of the concert was to raise money for the school picnic, and, as there was a large attendance, the fund will benefit considerably as a.result. An.excellent variety .programme. Mas provided by Mrs. Kthel Hardies party of entertainers, as follows: Mrs.- Stowers,. song; Miss Phyllis Greig, Diitch clog dance; Mi1. G. R. Turner and Miss C. M'lnnes, vocal: duet and solos; Misses L.-ancl F. Itnrdie, song and dance; Miss Betty Rosenthall, Irish jig; Messrs. Stan. Campbell and Victor Wilkie, comic items; Mrs. Ethel Hat-die, songs at the piano;- Mr. Laurie Bevan, one-string violin solos;'1 Misses A: and' --M. Millar, dances; Mrs. Rosentbal, vocal solo; Mr^ I. Dontice, vocal solo; Mrs.-. Mather .and Mrs. Metcalfe, vocal duet. ' The' accompanists wei'e Mrs! "Metcalfe.."and Mrs. '.'Ethel liardie, and Mr. Robert'llardie acted as slage manager. .: ' . .
