CAPSIZE OF CAR
INQUEST ON VICTIMS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) , HAWERA, 14th November. A verdict in accordance with tho medical evidence was returned at an inquest at Patoa to-day on William Henry Moore, aged 24, of Hawera, and his father, William Sturrock Moore, aged 55, of Blenheim, who died in the Patea Hospital subsequent to the capsize of a car near Moumahaki on loth September. At tho timo of tho accident the pair were travelling south with John E. Jones, a professional boxer, in a -small car belonging to Jones, Jones stated in evidence that Moore junior took over tho wheel shortly before reaching the scene of the accident, which occurred as the result of a skid on a greasy patch of road. Jones himself escaped injuries. Moore junior had his skull fractured, and his fathter died from myocardial degeneration accelerated by shock.
