ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place last night in the V.M.C.A., Mr. E. C. Jack presiding. Allusion was made to the great progress that Esperanto had made in the field of radio. Short talks in Esperanto were given as follows :-Miss Coralie Smytbson, Sub Tropika Cielo"; Mr. 11. Tucker, Cigma Tendaro" and "La Invento de la Telefono'; Mrs. C. Leek, "Sur in Maro" and "Kion Mikroskopo Montras"; Mr. B. C. Jack,. "Brita Koloniigado" and "La Komerca Hondo"; F-ino 5. Carty, "La Cirko venas al la Urbo" and " Vivo en. Lumturo"; Mr. Vernon Leek, "Kio estas Beleco?" and "La Silento de Armistica Tago"; Mr. L. E. Dust, "La Astra Sistemo" and "Alkoholo"; Mr. Bertram Potts, hon. secretary. "La Kulto de \a. Popola Danco" arid "Duobla Personeco." In the second portion of the evening Mr. L. E. Dust gave an interesting address in Esperanto on "La Subakvigisto," with e»» planatorj' diagrams drawn upon the black" board. The secretary spoke in Esperaut» on" the subject of "La Nautilo."
