ORGANIST'S DISMISSAL
♦ DAMAGES AGAINST BANKRUPT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNBDIN, 7th November. The Supreme Court action, W. Paget Gale- v. O'Brien, being a claim for £1750 for damages for wrongful dismissal from the position of organist at the Empire Pictures, has been settled for £1000. As the defendant is bankrupt, tho plaintiff must prove in the estate as an ordinary creditor to the extent of £1000.
