SALVATION ARMY.

The Salvation Army in the city under the ministry of Adjutant S. Green, is showing signs of increased vitality, and the growing attendances at .the Vivian street Citadel give evidence of the public appreciation of the services. For some weeks now Adjutant Green has been giving a series of addresses in the morning meetings on The Holy Spirit. The night meetings have been considerably brightened. For this Sunday evening a still further break from the ordinary is being attempted. Mr. S. Kossiter is organising a programme of sacred song and music, the contributors to it including the well-known singer, Mr. AY. Bridge, and also the girls from the Army's Home at Ncwtown. Following this programme; Adjutant Green will speak on "Weapons of Warfare." The Salvation Army has just published a new song book of over 1000 songs, and this will be introduced in the Citadel to-morrow.
