MB.. SCULLIFS OPINION
LOSS OF LYONS A DISASTER
(Received 7th November, noon.) LONDON, 6th November. When reports that Mr. Lyons had religned and Mr. Fentou might follow reached London, Mr. Parker Moloney, Minister of Markets, telephoned Mr. JTenton, who denied the resignation reports. He admitted that the position pras very serious, but he hoped it jnight yet be saved. Mr. Scullin said that ho had not refeeivedany communication from Mr. £jyons or Mr, UTenton,, and was unable fo comment. ' Mr. Scullin is perturbed by the ae|lon of caucus. "I would regard the 3oss of Mr. Lyons's services as a <3isittster," he said. "I consider that Mr. jjyons has done wonderfully good work and shown a clear appreciation of Australia's position."
