Ttigadoon and Alcnian galloped a mile and a quarter in 2miri lfjjsee. Myarin, with \V. L. Howson up, aid half a mile in 50sec The Gay Mutineer galloped a mile in lmin 47£ sec Peake, and Wakerife covered seven furlongs in lmin 34^sec. Pearl Fisher gave a beating to Nawallah and John Bonald over a mile done in Imin 50sec. Tavrapunga galloped a mile and a quarter in 2min 19sec. "Watch Officer did sis furlongs easily in lmin 29sec. Muratti still remains in the Melbourne Cup. » At Flemington, on the course proper, Pentheus and Fcgli did the best halfmile, taking 4SJsec. Quickfirer, with a lightweight, up, easily beat Amor over a mile and a half done in 2min 44Jsec. Amounis, with W. Cook up, galloped six furlongs in lmin 20sec.
