«. TELEPHONIC COMMUNICATION 'NEW YOEK, ,23rd October. Regular telephonic communication between Australia and North America will be inaugurated next Monday.. The American Telephone-Telegraph Company announced that the cost of a call from New York to Sydney will be 45 dollars for three minutes, 15 dollars for every. additional minute, with a quarter charge for more distant points in North America.
