'Under the will of fire late Mrs. Amelia Mary' "'Randall,' of Taradale, .who died last Veek, £22,500 is left fco charitable- objects, and tho residue of the estate,,after providing for bequests to relatives, employees, and personal- friends, will be left upon trust for the 1" establishment of a Baptist.College in-New Zealand for, .the general education of boys and girls, or boys or girls. The latter .sum will bo a substantial one, .but the exact amount is hot available at present. Most of : : the bequests, arc for various organisations in connection with the Baptist Church of New Zealand, the largest being! £.11,500 to the Baptist Union for special trusts. Of tins £2500 writ go to the- 'New Zealand Baptist annuity fund, £1000 to the Baptist Children's Home, Manure wa, Auckland, £15.00 to the Xapier Baptist Church manse fund, £1000 to the' Baptist Union ministers' book fund, £500 to''the! Baptist Missionary Society, and £5000', for. the establishment of a Randall students' fund to bo us\:4 in the maintenance and education of students fox ministry.. in tho Baptist Chui-ch ■ of.-New . Zealand or the Baptist Missionary Society. A further amount of £4500 is bequeathed to the Baptist Union for the erection of a now • church at Napier, the' site for which has already been given by the- testator.. The Baptist Union will also receive £5000, the income from avlilc.li will foe utilised-, in the maintenance of the Baptist Theological College at Kemnera, Auckland. ' . . . The' residue, of the estate will be placed on trust for the .establishment, of 'a Baptist- College, not theological, but for the education on general lines' of boys and girls, Or boys or girls.Other public bequests are: I-lnwkcs Bay Children's Home, '£1000; Napier V.M.C.A., ■£506.;..'.Bethany Home, Napier, £500; Salvation Army, Napier, £250; Plunkct Society, Napiei', '£150; New Zealand branch of the British and ■'Foreign Bible .Society, £100.
