GOOSE STEP REVIVED
LONDON, 6th October
"The Times" Berlin correspondent states that the ex-Crown Prince, Princes Eitel-Friedrich, August . Wilhelm, and Oskar, and General yon Seeekt, members of the Fascist Grand Council, were among the guests at the annual rally of 125,000 Steel Helmets at Coblenz during the week-end. The p-x-Crown Prince was dressed in a Steel Helmet uniform, which is almost undistinguishable from the Reichswehr's, and watched the Steel Helmets goose-stepping past. He also listened to Steel Helmets' truculent speeches, laden with' covert threats, for home and foreign consumption, including a declaration that Germany would not aliow her martial will to be broken, that the Steel Helmets would co-operate with the Nazis in a referendum aiming to overthow the Centre-Socialist Government, and demanding a revision of the Versailles Treaty, which was "built on the greatest, lie in the world's histor}'." y
