RUGBY, 7th October. The Prime Minister, ' Mr. Ramsay MacDouald, made touching reference to the disaster in a speech to-day .at the Labour Party Conference at Llandudno, paying, special tribute to the splendid services oil Lord Thomson to aviation and the country, and to the personal charm of his fate colleague. He thanked the. Government and the people of Franco for their courtesy, for their sympathetic consideration, and, finally, for the honour they had
shown our dead. Ho added: "Franco knows how to stand by the side of the mourner."
