NO STRUCTURAL DEFECT
(Keceived Bth October, 1.30 p.m.)
BEAUVAIS, 7th October
It is understood that up to the prosent nothing has been fouud to show .that the airship had any structural defect. It is further learned on good. authority that the pieces of wreckage brought in from a few miles from the scene are souvenirs dropped by collectors soon after the crash. Various parts of the wreckage together with the two midship engines, which are in a remarkable state of preservation, practically intact, will be shipped to England for detailed examination. The curious discoveries of searchers lead to the hope that official documents, perhaps even a log book, may be found.
