MANOR PARK LADIES' CLUB
A Canadian foursome for Miss Murphy's trophy was played last Saturday by the Manor Park Ladies' Golf Club, tho winners being Mrs.. Butler and Miss Stevens, 1 down. Mrs. Barnard and Mrs. Burns returned the next best card with 4 down.
The knock-out competition on handicap for the Forbes's Cup has now reached the semi-final stage and matches played to date are as follows: —
First round: Mrs. Butler won from Mrs. Clarke, 4 and 3; Miss Bray won from Miss Margery Adams, 3 and 1; Miss Nash won from Miss Fair-brother, 2 and 1; Miss Stevens won.from Miss Murphy, G and 4.
Second round: Mrs. Barnard won from Miss Nash, 4 and 3; Mrs. Butler-won from Miss Hopkins, 5 and 4; Miss Bray won from Mrs. Burns, 2 and 1; Miss Stevens won from Miss Maisie Adams, 5 and 4.
