Wheat.—Cargoes to-day were _ easier, following reports of beneficial rains in Argentina and New South Wales. Sellers reduced their limits by 3d. There was a fair amount of trading. Part cargoes by ■the Vinstra and Port Victor for Liverpool sold at 29s 9d per quarter. The balance of the West Lynn cargo for Italy sold at 30s 3d in bags, and 29s 9cl ,m bulk. The King John's cargo for Britain sold at 30s 3d in bags and 29s 9d in bulkParcels were obtainable, at a decline of 3d to 6d. The market is quiet, apart from good business in Russians. A parcel ex Nolisenient sold at 30s. . , Futures: London, December and February, 27s 7d per quarter; Liverpool, October, 6s o%d per cental: December, 6s 0 3-8 d; March, 6s 1 3-Sd; May, 6s 3%d.
