Mr. B. Jones (Beform, Mid-Canter-bury) gave notice to ask the ActingJPrime Minister whether the Government intends this session to introduce legislation to give effect to the decision of the Bailway Commission's report to set up a board of directors to Inanage the railways*
Mr. W. L. Martin (Labour, Raglan) Intends to ask the Acting-Prime Minister it' he,will mako a statement regarding the policy of the Rural Intermediate Credits Board in connection with the new regulations imposing restrictions on associations. Mr. C. H. Chapman (Labour, Wellington- North) gave notice to ask the Acting-Prime Minister whether he Would make a statement allaying the anxiety of Civil servants caused liy the rumours of -wholesale dismissals after Parliament adjourns.
