ECLIPSE PARTY

LANDING AT. NIUAFOU

The New Zealand solar eclipse expedition made a safe landing at Niuafou yeferday morning, according to a radio message received by Commodore Blake.

The party, which consists of Dr. C. E. Adams and five others, was taken from Suva to the island by H.M.S. Laburnum. They arrived there ut 6\30 a.m. yesterday. Weather conditions were ideal for landing the party, stores, and instruments, ana with the help of nativo boats all wore safe on the island by 10 a.m.
