"The Great, LiWe. 4rmT" The massed band-items-at tte Basin-Reserve were:-"The Great Little tr ny ''conducted by , Captain T Herd: imnn (by request). -"Eternal ' Matter » conducted by Mr. A, ButherM W*Ilen"o" conducted by Mr. E trankim. O^tug to heavy rain, .the .concluding, part of the programme was given in ..the grandstand the following' items being rendered: Pfoe Band, "Selection of Scottish Airs ; Atomar Band'- overture. . "Hampton Co™ Artillery .Band, selection, "William Tell"; Tramways Band, march "On Tour"- UPPev Hutt -Band, fantasia, "Veronica"; Naval Reserve Band, march, »6ld Comradfes." The bandsmen's cftorto were rewarded by a very gratifying ; eplol of £16 6s 6d. The executive thaX the people who were present; for their appreciation .and generosity and t ose aSUing. Sergeant-Major J. Dnncan was in charge, of the .bands at the B-isin and the officials.- were: Mr. U. BateAchairman; Mr. J. Tindle, assistantfecre ary; Mr. W. Smith, treasurer. .The function was capably organised by the ion secretary (Mr. A. Buckley). -
