PUBLICATION CEASES

(By Telegraph.—Press- Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Arrangements have been made between the New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., and the Sun Newspapers, Ltd., under which the former has purchased the • buildings, plant, copyright, and goodwill of the "Sun," Auckland. The "Sun"1 ceases publication from to-day as a separate paper, and from Monday will be incorporated \n the "Auckland Star."

The Sun Newspapers, Ltd., wiJl continue to publish the "Sun," Christchurch, which is not in any way affected by the realisation of the company's assets in Auckland.

The Auckland "Sun" commenced pub lieation in April, 1927.
