LONDON, 19th September. During the third day's play in the Anglo-American bridge tournament the English team showed good form and knocked America down over 1700 points, so that at the end of the day's play, shortly before 1 o'clock this morning, America had only 2770 points up, compared with 4990 points early in the evening.
