THE FRENCH DOLL'S WEDDING
The French Doll was lonely, because she lived in a corner of the playroom by herself. The other dolls thought that she was proud and haughty because she came from Trance, but they were mistaken.
One night she asked them why they did not play with her.' They said they thought she was too proud to play with common dolls.
After that night they always came over to her corner to play with her. One day a boy doll came into the room and was put in l"ho French Doll's corner. "" That night Boy Doll asked French Doll why sho spoko to such common dolls. "Oh!" she answered, quickly. "They're not. They were very good to me whten I was lonely, and I am quite happy now." A few nights after French Doll married the boy. It was a beautiful wedding. Freuch Doll had a pink georgette dress with a crinoline. And they» all lived happily in the play-room. "'•-. DTJXX.
