Correct Evening Wear
A London writer gives tho following hints for evening wear:—
Shoes. —Satin or crepe court, or dancing sandal shape.
Stockings. —Chiffon silk, usually in flesh tone.
Bag.—Small pochette of some evening fabric, such as tinsel brocade. Or cna'mol vanity case.
Jewellery.—To match or contrast with dress, but only a few pieces.
Handkerchief. —Tiny ones, or1 squares of chiffon

Best Colours. —The fashionable shades that suit you.
A wrap really is necessary. Nothing ■looks worse than a day coat over ;in evening frock, and, except in cases of sheer dire necessity, it can't bo excused. In the summer one can always wear a silk shawl, and in the winter a fur coat can quite well do double duty for day and evening.
