HOUSING PROPOSALS

EUGBT, 17th September.
For the purpose of examining proposals in regard to housing, being section of tho general plans for dealing with the unemployment programme, Mr. V. Hartshorn, Lord Privy Seal, and Mr. Greenwood, Minister of Health, accompinied by Government experts, met the Liberal leader, Mr. Lloyd George, at the Treasury to-day. The Prime Minister and Mr. Lloyd George will meet to-morrow to continue their conference on unemployment questions. The conversations between the Labour and Liberal representatives on the unemployment problem were resumed. Mr. Vernon Hartshorn, Lord Privy Seal, and Professor Lees-Smith, PostmasterGeneral, represented the Government, and the Marquess of Lothian and Mr. Seebohin Bountree the Liberals.
