The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held last even ing, Mr. W. B. Hicks presiding. Thcr\ w,ere present Messrs. G. Aevs, F. Maekie. J. M. Coleman, R. J. Weir, H. Powei. N. Brian, W. Fraser, H. Spolsky, L. Mcl lor, S. C. Shedden, and B. A. M: bin (secretary). The Hospital Club notified that it wn impossible for its team to come to We lingtou to play its first division mate with Marist. Gold medals are to be presented to ti winners of the Auld Memorial Cup fin.il. A letter was received from the Ci Council intimating that the Reserves Ci> mittee was taking no action at pref: in connection with the erection of ami ianee sheds on reserves. If these teams are not ava able, the secretary, is to arrange for tw other teams. A letter was received from H.M.S. Duedin stating that the ship would produ strong team to play Wellington nc Saturday. They had already defeat* representative teams from Christchurc Dunediu, and Invercargill. In the Wellington team to play H.M.S Dunedin, Dainty replaces Thomas at ri'.'l: half, and Armitage takes Haines's plauu v centre-half.
