OPENING RATES CONFIRMED

LONDON. 17th September
Offerings' at the wool sales to-day were 10,423 bales, including 5979 New Zealand. About 5550 bales were sold.
There was a poor selection of merinos, but a good supply of New Zealand sorts, which met with steady competition.
. Opening rates were confirmed. Some lines of slipes were withdrawn, owinji to high limits placed on them.
