The person sending in the most complete list wins the first prize, etc. PROVISION FOR POSSIBLE DEAD HEATS. 1. In the event of a dead heat the first and second prize money will be "pooled" and equally divided between dead heaters. 2. In the event of three dead heats the first, second, and third prizes will be "pooled" and equally divided in three parts. ' • . 3. In the event of four ox- more dead heats occurring, all prize moneys will be "pooled" and an equal division made to all successful contestants. The names and addresses of prize winners will be advertised in the Press. All entries to be addressed to the Secretary, Wellington Manu- ' facturers' Association, 89 Wakefield Street, Wellington, the envelope being marked "Spotting Competition." Entries close at"9 a.m., Monday, 22nd September. Competitors must not inquire from shop attendants as toj whether an article is, or is not, a "Spot." The Judges will be selected from the Executive Officers of tli* Retailers' and Manufacturer*' Joint Committee controlling "Industries Week," and their decisions shall be accepted as final. NOTE.—Articles used to assist in displaying the various goods, such as machinery,.electric motors, display stands,',show cards,.: signs, etc., are NOT FOREIGN to the display.- . _ Examples of what you might find ■ aret a cake of soap '■ mixed in with a paint display, a pocket knife lying amongst a display of shirts, a packet of cigarettes appearing in the midst of a display of ladies' stockings. .
